Photography - The Corner Beet

The following collection of photos really challenged me to focus on a crisp and clean aesthetic, while still making food look fresh and delicious. When presented with this project, I was hired as a contract designer/photographer for not one, but three different businesses. My main focus out of the three businesses at the time though was this restaurant, The Corner Beet. I put my heart and soul into creating the best photography I could that was on-brand with the Corner Beet's bright pink branding.

In the first two galleries below, you will see what I like to call the "Pink Pack". These photos were all shot and edited by me. They were meant to be opening slides for instagram posts, where the user would swipe and see another detail shot of the dish, with a list of the ingredients. This would make it easier for customers to get a glimpse of what's on the menu before they headed into the restaurant. Aside from that, the images were also used on their online menus that I managed, as well as in promotional material.

Later on, I also took photographs of their food against their wooden tables, up against windows, and the restaurant's mural to break up the bright pink and give some variation to their social media feed. I like to call these the "Natural Pack." Below are some previews of that work, and another gallery with other photographs that were taken for this restaurant.
